Music Player App
Too strengthen my skills I joined an Adobe XD Challenge. On one of the days of the challenge we were asked to design a music player app. The challenge intrigued me so much that I decided to expand upon it and do a short case study.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
RESEARCH
“3 out of 4 Millennials use music streaming services” -The Arabian Marketer

LOW FIDELITY WIREFRAMES
After going through and researching user stats and what current apps are popular and what makes them tick I dove into doing some low fidelity wireframes using Adobe XD.
BRANDING
After creating the Lo Fidelity wireframes I moved on to styling and branding. I wanted to create a moody chill vibe for the app. That meant using (in my opinion) a moody color palette and font styles.
HI-FIDELITY MOCKUP
I then began to build out the high fidelity prototype in Adobe XD. Pulling in my research and keeping my branding ideas in mind I created the prototype below. As a millennial myself I knew the things I loved and hated in the current music player apps I use. When using a streaming app I’m usually trying to get myself in a certain headspace or mood. I decided to go with a dark moody vibe with pops of color here an there.
